The whole weekend seemed just like a gathering of friends. The friendly staff were very efficient and had an infectious sense of humour. Nothing was compulsory, so everyone could come and go as they pleased without any pressure to join in. The food was beautifully cooked, using fresh local produce.

Programme

30th December: Arrive Dinner – spiced cider in the lounge followed by four course evening meal
Hogmanay: Breakfast
Guided walk for the more energetic
Buffet lunch with sandwiches and warming soup
Mid afternoon tea
Celebrations start with a Hogmanay gala dinner followed by celebrations round the town clock and fireworks over the bay, then back to the hotel for a Tobermory Malt to toast the New Year.
New Year’s Day: Recovering running brunch from 10 am – 1pm
Walk to the lighthouse to clear the cobwebs
Tea in the lounge New Year’s Day Dinner followed by music in the lounge.
2nd January: Breakfast and farewell
